Technology platforms for omics data production contributing to ODIN

CRISPR SCREEN

IPMC UMR7275, 660 Route des Lucioles, SOPHIA ANTIPOLIS, 06560 VALBONNE

The platform aims to offer Université Côte d’Azur teams support on CRISPR/Cas9 technology in order to carry out functional genomic screening experiments (targeted or "genome wide"); to improve the vectorization strategy; to perform a knock-out or knock-down for a given gene in a cellular model; and to carry out expression screens on a large number of samples. The platform is made up of a scientific director (Bernard Mari, IPMC), a co-director (Els Verhoeyen, C3M) and a technical manager, Julien Fassy.

Cytometry@IPMC (MICA)

IPMC UMR7275, 660 Route des Lucioles, SOPHIA ANTIPOLIS, 06560 VALBONNE

The IPMC's Cytometry platform is a member of MICA (Microscopie Imagerie Cytométrie Azur), a multi-site and multi-institutional infrastructure, labeled by GIS IBISA in 2010. It is accessible to all public and private entities without any thematic, institutional, or geographical restrictions. MICA consolidates imaging and microscopy resources from eight academic partners on the Côte d'Azur, offering a wide range of specialized equipment and technical expertise. MICA features 48 microscopy units and 11 flow cytometry units, supported by a team of 26 technicians, engineers, and researchers. MICA provides assistance and training in various imaging techniques, tailored to a diverse array of samples, from marine organisms to clinical specimens. It also develops customized technical approaches and provides access to specialized databases such as Ecotaxa and Omero. MICA's areas of expertise include nanoscopy, subcellular and cellular photonic imaging, imaging of tissues and living organisms, as well as cell analysis and sorting through flow cytometry. The platform also offers image analysis solutions in 2D, 3D, and 4D, and provides access to databases and 3D analysis software.

PAB-Azur

IPMC UMR7275, 660 Route des Lucioles, SOPHIA ANTIPOLIS, 06560 VALBONNE

The Biomolecule Analysis Platform (PAB-Azur) at the Institute of Molecular and Cellular Pharmacology specialises in the mass spectrometric analysis of proteins, lipids and metabolites. PAB-Azur is organised into two areas of expertise: – Lipidomic/metabolomic analysis (PAB-Azur-lipidomic) – Proteomic analysis (PAB-Azur-proteomic) The platform is open to all public and private organisations, without any thematic, institutional or geographical restrictions.

UCAGenomiX

IPMC UMR7275, 660 Route des Lucioles, SOPHIA ANTIPOLIS, 06560 VALBONNE

Since 1999, the UCAGenomiX platform has provided expertise in transcriptomics, bioinformatics and functional genomics, from experimental design to primary and secondary bioinformatics analysis and biological interpretation. UCAGenomiX is constantly developing new areas of expertise, either in-house or through scientific collaborations. With a core expertise in transcriptomics, it provides data at resolutions down to the single cell level. Since its creation, UCAGenomiX has been involved in major projects, such as the creation of the Franco-British Resogen microarray resource resulting from a collaboration between the Réseau National des Génopôles and the MRC, the “Human Cell Atlas” project, carried out thanks to the support of the Chan Zuckerberg Foundation, or the 1011 yeast genomes project, carried out as part of the France-Génomique national biotechnology-health infrastructure, of which the platform has been a founding member since its creation in 2011. UCAGenomiX engineers enlighten your biological studies by incorporating a detailed picture of all associated genomic events.
